New Delhi: Goa University PhD Admission 2022 will begin from March 8. The university released an official notice on March 3, 2022, stating the same.
Goa University will be accepting applications for the 2022-23 academic session. The university offers doctoral programs under various specialisations, including Biotechnology, Education, Electronics, Physics, Botany, Marine Science and other departments.
Goa University PhD Admission 2022 will be offered at the university campus and all affiliated colleges. This includes national institutes such as the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO), Goa and the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research.

Goa University PhD Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who qualified CSIR-UGC / UGC NET JRF / lectureship, SET / SLET /JEST / ICAR-NET exam of different Indian states / GATE with a valid certificate, having DST Inspire fellowship, or those awarded M.Phil degree as per UGC guidelines.
- Candidates who qualified Goa University PhD Entrance Test (GU-PET) held in December 2020 & August 2021.
Goa University PhD Admission 2022: Selection Process
- For the selection of candidates for PhD Admission 2022, a weightage of 70% shall be given to entrance test scores and 30% to the performance in the Interview.
- In case of a tie in exam scores, preference shall be given to those who have been awarded JRF in the CSIR-UGC/UGC NET Exam, followed by DST Inspire, M.Phil, NET, SET, SLET/JEST/ICAR/ICMR-NET/GPAT over GU-PET in that order. If the tie still remains there, then the interview performance shall be used as a tiebreaker.

- Fill out the Registration form with the required credentials.
- Use your login credentials to fill out the Application form.
- Submit the application form with the required documents and application fee.
