Goa University Semester Exams 2020 to be Conducted Online; Check Important Details


Goa University has declared that the semester exams for the undergraduate courses i.e. BA, BSc and BCom programmes for 1st and 2nd year via Digital mode whereas for the final year students, the exam will be conducted in offline mode. 

The exams for both the undergraduate courses i.e. BA, BSc and BCom programmes

 for 1st and 2nd year students will be conducted online whereas for the final year students, the varsity will conduct offline exams as the campus. Both the modes of exam will be starting from January 4, 2021.

As per the notice issued by the Goa University, the students will have to follow the guidelines given and will have to submit the scanned images of their answer sheet.

Goa University Online Semester Exams 2020: Highlights

The university will be sharing the exam papers via Google classroom, Moodle, email, whatsapp etc. which can be accessed by the smartphone. Students will be given a choice to either type in their answers or write them down and share the scanned images on the university's website. The question paper will be shared by the examiners at 10 AM.

Students need to submit their answers by 1 PM in the afternoon.

The university has also shared the exam format and the pattern in which the test will be conducted. The exam will be held for a duration of 2 hours where students need to answer 30-40 marks questions. MoreoverMoreover, the only one question paper will be set for one subject which is held online.

Goa University Online Semester Exams 2020: Exam pattern

The first set of the questions will have 8 questions carrying 2 marks each. And out of those students need to choose any 5 questions to answer. The second set will have 6-8 questions carrying 5 marks each, where students are required to choose 4-6 questions to attempt.

For practical subjects the second set may consist of 10 marks questions where students can choose 4 questions to answer.
