HPCET Counselling 2020: The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) will hold its counselling 2020 for the candidates who have passed the HPCET 2020. HPTU has declared the counselling schedule of HPCET 2020.
The candidates who have cleared the HPCET 2020 exam can check the procedure, dates, seat allotment online on the official website - @himtu.ac.in.

HPCET Counselling 2020: Documents Required
The candidates must have the following documents, in original along with one set of photocopies aptly attested at the time of counselling -
- Mark-sheet issued by Board/University.
- National level Entrance examination/ HPCET-2020 Score Card.
- Certificate of having passed the qualifying examination.
- Matriculation/ HSC/ Indian School Certificates showing Date of Birth.
- Domicile Certificate.
- Income Certificate, Reserved Category Certificate, Physically Handicapped Certificate, or Kashmiri Migrant Certificates issued by respective authorities if the candidate is applicable for any of the respective categories.
- An affidavit attested by Executive Magistrate if applied under ‘Beti Hai Anmol Scheme’.
HPCET Counselling 2020: Important Instructions
- The candidates will have to be present at the time of counselling and should immediately report to the Admission Selection Committee to choose from the seats available at his/ her turn.
- If the candidate fails to report for the counselling as per the schedule or does not accept the seat offered, they shall forfeit their claim.
- The candidates who are seeking admission under the management quota will have to apply to the concerned Private affiliated college with all the documents and scorecard of National Level Entrance Test - 2020/ HPCET 2020.
- The college will admit only the ones who have fulfilled the eligibility criteria mentioned. The candidates who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria and still take admissions via management quota seats, such candidates will solely be responsible for any further consequences and not the University.
- There will be no bargain in any of the provisions mentioned in the prospectus while admitting the students. The college shall solely be responsible for the settlement of any kind of dispute arising during admissions.
- Admissions shall be offered to the applicants of reserved categories prior to the ones from the general category. The vacant seats of reserved categories shall be passed on to the general category at the end of the last round of counselling.
