New Delhi: IBAB Bengaluru has begun the application process for the MSc programme for the academic session 2022-23. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @ibab.ac.in, by May 14, 2022.

IBAB Bengaluru is offering a two-year MSc Programme in specializations like Biotechnology & Bioinformatics. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till May 14, 2022.

Candidates seeking admissions into IBAB will have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the institute followed by an interview to be finally eligible for admissions. 

IBAB Bengaluru MSc Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates will have to satisfy the eligibility criteria for admissions into the MSc courses which are mentioned below: 

• Candidates must have to obtain a minimum of 50% in his/her Bachelor’s programme overall. 
• Bachelor’s degree in any branch of science/technology/medicine (with degrees such as BSc, BE, BTech, BPharm, MBBS, BDS and BVSc). 
• Illustrative eligible subject areas are: Life sciences (zoology, botany, genetics, human biology, general life sciences, ecology, environmental biology), bioinformatics, biotechnology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, statistics, any branch of engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, agriculture, medicine, dentistry, horticulture, forestry and veterinary sciences. 
• There is no age bar for applying. for the IBAB Entrance Exam for M.Sc programme. 

IBAB Bengaluru MSc Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed either in person at IBAB, or in online mode. Candidates will be intimated in due course about the date and mode of interview. 

IBAB Bengaluru MSc Admission 2022: Entrance Exam 

• The IBAB entrance exam is a national level test, which is conducted online in which candidates have to solve questions from physics, mathematics, chemistry, life sciences and general aptitude. 
• The objective type questions have to be solved by the candidate within the time limit. The IBAB entrance exam has no negative marking and hence, the candidate must attempt all the questions. 
• Candidates are called for a personal interview if they manage to qualify the written exam. The admission is given in the M.Sc program in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, if the candidate qualifies both the stages. 

IBAB Bengaluru MSc Admission 2022: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of IBAB Bengaluru @ibab.ac.in. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 500 and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
