IIIT Kottayam Witnesses Significant Increase in Placement Offers; Average Salary Recorded at INR 10.48 Lakh


New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam, has witnessed a significant increase in the number of placement offers for the academic session 2021-22, with average annual salary being recorded at INR 10.48 lakh. 

Being a nationally renowned institution, IIIT Kottayam, has seen a noticeable increase in placement offers to students as a result of its institute-coordinated value-addition programmes for its students.

This year, a total of 212 offers were recorded by the institute with an average compensation package of 10.48 lakh per year as the campus placement drive for the 2021-22 academic year. 

With the conclusion of the IIIT Kottayam Placements, almost 212 placement offers were recorded compared to 111 placement offers in the previous academic year. The 21 pre-placement offers from the student summer internship programmes were in addition to the total number of placement offers.

According to the IIIT Kottayam statement, the job offers have been extended to around 85% of students who chose campus placements. 

Several top-notch companies including NVIDIA, Medianet, Trilogy Solutions, and iManage participated in the IIIT Kottayam Placements 2021-22, which produced the highest package of INR 42 lakh per year. 

Speaking about the increase in the placement offers, M. Radhakrishnan, Registrar, IIIT-Kottayam, attributed the increase in the placement offers to the institution's various value-addition programmes
