IIIT Trichy's Fourth Convocation 2022: 55 Graduates Receive Degrees; Check Details Here

New Delhi: IIIT Trichy has conducted its 4the convocation for the academic year 2022, wherein a total of 55 graduates were awarded with the degrees.

The gold medals for the Roll of Honor belonged to Nunna Lakshmi Saranya (ECE) and Dinesh Vikram V (CSE). Apart from this, Dinesh also won the Institute Gold Medal for having the best overall academic record at IIIT Trichy.

During the convocation ceremony, Prof. Mini Shaji Thomas, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, was the chief guest.

Served as the first woman director of National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli's (NIT, Trichy) from 2016 to 2019, Mini Shaji Thomas delivered the convocation address and requested the students to seize the opportunities, be lifelong learners, and be caring and humane.

The director of IIIT Tiruchirappalli Prof. NVSN Sarma read the organization's annual report.

Further, the convocation ceremony was attended by Prof. MV Kartikeyan, Director of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Kancheepuram, and Prof. R. Velraj, Vice-Chancellor of Anna University (AU).

The members of the Board of Governors BoG and Senate also graced the occasion. In addition, the parents of some of the graduates and other respected dignitaries were present as well. The faculty members, staff and students immensely contributed to the success of the event.

Meanwhile, the institute is well-known for offering its flagship program, B.Tech programme, for which, the admission process is based on JEE Main/ JEE Advanced scores followed by JoSAA Counselling 2022.
