IIM Ahmedabad Revised Criteria for MBA Admissions 2022: Check Details Here

New Delhi: IIM Ahmedabad has recently released the revised criteria and formula for admission selection to its upcoming PGPM batch of 2022-24. 

As per IIM Ahmedabad, the class 10th and class 12th board examination marks of students will now be included in the shortlisting criteria. The final selection will be done based on the candidate's overall academic score, work experience and other parameters. 

As per the official notice, “On account of this, the Admissions Committee of IIM Ahmedabad decided to do away with the bachelor’s degree component from the shortlisting criteria and to apply it uniformly to all the candidates".

"The AR now will be computed on a scale of 25 (considering class 10th marks, class 12th marks, and candidate's work experience) and the points will be pro-rated to 35,” IIM Ahmedabad official notice further reads.

IIM Ahmedabad MBA Admission 2022 Revised Criteria 

Keeping in mind the situation in hand, IIM Ahmedabad has decided to not to include the bachelor’s degree component in its shortlisting criteria. Now, the selection for IIM Ahmedabad Admission 2022 seats will be done based on the revised criteria mentioned below: 

• Composite Score (CS) = 0.35 x (pro-rated AR Score/35) + 0.65 x (normalized overall CAT Score)

• Where pro-rated AR Score= [(AR score computed by taking 0 points for Bachelor’s degree)/25] x 35

IIM Ahmedabad CAT Cut Off 2021

In view of the Covid-19 pandemic situation in the country, many universities were unable to conduct examinations of students. Hence, students were promoted to the next session based on the alternative assessment criteria released by the respected colleges and universities. 

Due to the promotion of students, the bachelor’s degree marks have been removed from the criteria parameters for the 2022 academic session. The selection of students will be done based on their CAT 2021 score, class 10th, and 12th qualifications, and work experience. 

Earlier, IIM Ahmedabad has released CAT cut-offs 2021 criteria for 2022-24 admission session on its official website at iima.ac.in. Candidates who are applying for IIM Ahmedabad MBA Course 2022 admission process are advised to check the revised criteria with care.
