IIM Bangalore Acknowledged as India's Best B School For Masters Program

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore has been ranked India's best business school in the Financial Times (FT) Masters in Management (MiM) Ranking 2022, the prestigious institution announced on Monday.

IIM Bangalore ranked 31st in the world in 2022, up from 47th in 2021, according to a release. "IIM Bangalore's leadership position in these rankings benefits the school's visibility and reputation," stated IIMB Director Professor Rishikesha T Krishnan.

The British daily Financial Times has named the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Bengaluru India's best business school for master's students in its annual Masters in Management (MiM) list.

IIM Bangalore competed with institutions from France, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Denmark. The SP Jain Institute of Management and Research in Mumbai and IIM Lucknow were both ranked 44 and 64 on the list, respectively.

FT B-school Rankings (MiM): IIMB Retains Leadership Position

The IIM's two-year full-time Post Graduate Programme in Management, which leads to an MBA, has topped the FT MiM Ranking in India this year.

It was ranked first in terms of value for money, women on the institute's board, teachers with doctorates, worldwide course experience, and weighted salary in US dollars.The Financial Times reports that the average weighted earnings of an IIM Bangalore alumni is $US144,178 per year.

"We're glad our focus on quality is being reflected in national and worldwide rankings,IIMB's leadership position in these rankings plays a part in raising the visibility and reputation of the school," said director Professor Rishikesha T Krishnan.
