New Delhi: On Monday, a new batch of students joined the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore which consists of 81.7% engineers and the rest from other streams and a lawyer.
At IIM Bangalore's new batch, out of the engineers, 15% are from IITs, 24% from NITs, and 75% from work experience with an average of 22 months experience and an age group of an average of 24 years. IIM Bangalore admission has concluded for the MBA courses for the academic year 2022-2023.
Professor Rishikesha T Krishnan, IIMB Director, has said, “As the institute aims to create extraordinary leaders, the new curriculum is based on feedback from the industry with focus on digital fluency, effective use of social media, importance of data as well as environmental, social, and governance issues, and communication skills.”

- The new batch consists of 81.7% engineers, a lawyer, and the rest from other streams.

- 37.7% of men and 62% of women have been registered for the new batch of PGP.
The new curriculum is based on digital fluency and the effective use of social media. It also focuses on the importance of data as well as environmental, social, and governance issues, and communication skills.
