IIM Bangalore Placement 2022: 100% of PGP Batch Placed, Offers Increase by 37%; Full Report Here

New Delhi: In the IIM Bangalore Placement 2022 drive concluded recntly, the institute has recorded 100% placement for its PGP and PGPBA Class of 2020-22. All students who participated in the drive received placement opportunities in various domains.

 

As per IIM Bangalore, a total of 513 students from the PGP and PGPBA Program batch of 2020-2022 participated in the placement session. Out of total participation, the institute received the highest number of job offers compared to the previous year's data. 

At the IIM Bangalore Placement 2022, students received a total of 662 offers during the lateral and final placement. The data recorded an increase of about 37 percent of offers made in the session of 2022. 

Following the data, students enrolled in IIM Bangalore PGP Course received the highest number of offers from the consultancy sector, followed by the IT and Product Management domain in second place with 141 job offers.

IIM Bangalore PGP Placement 2022: Key Highlights

While talking about the 100% placement record, Roopa Adyasha, Senior Manager, Career Development Services, IIM-B said, “The hiring cautiousness exhibited earlier by recruiters during the pandemic seems to have transformed into a new wave of optimism, enthusiasm and a growth mindset for organizations across all industries and sectors".

"This has resulted in all the students of IIMB being placed by the end of Day 1 of the placement week. The entirely virtual process was seamlessly managed by the IIMB ecosystem and it is indeed gratifying to see this stupendous success,” she added. 

During the placement drive, top recruiters such as Boston Consulting Group, Kearney, Bain and Company, McKinsey and Company, Ernst and Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tata Consultancy Services among others made the highest offers in the consultancy domain.

While major companies such as Microsoft, OYO, Amagi Labs, Oracle, Atlassian, Google made the most number of placement offers to IIM Bangalore PGPBA and PGP course students. The offers were made to all 513 students who participated in the placement drive.
