New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) has successfully concluded its summer placements for the MBA batch of 2022, after two days of interviews, by recording almost 539 internship offers.
Achieving 100% placement record, the placement data of IIM Bangalore revealed all of the 529 MBA applicants were placed in reputed organizations.

With the number of Covid-19 cases decreasing worldwide, the business school held its first offline placement drive. The summer placements recorded the participation of students from the Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP) and Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics (PGP-BA) programmes.
During the IIM Bangalore Summer Placements 2022, the Consulting firms made 233 offers in total, followed by 73 offers from businesses in the finance sector.
A total of 67 offers for their leadership tracks in General Management positions were made. In the sales and marketing sector, around 58 offers were made.
Further, 36 offers were made in the combined category of operations and e-commerce, followed by 50 in the information technology and IT/product management domain. With 22 offers made this year, the number of analytics positions increased from last year.
Accenture emerged as the top recruiters with the highest number of offers, i.e, 41 followed by McKinsey & Company with 22 offers, Bain & Company with 20, Tata Consultancy Services with 18 summer internship hiring, and Boston Consulting Group with 17 openings.
