New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management, IIM Bodh Gaya has successfully concluded its final placement for the MBA students of batch 2020-22, where the highest salary was recorded at INR 30.50 lakh.
This year, a total of 184 students and 100 students participated in the IIM Bodh Gaya Placements 2020-22. The institute recorded the highest annual salary package being offered at INR 30.50 lakh per annum.
The MBA students were mostly hired for different roles in the various sectors including Banking, BFSI, FinTech, Consultancy, Manufacturing, Information technology (IT), Analytics, Online Services, Real Estates, and EdTech.

Some of the top-notch recruiters who hired the MBA students at the final IIM Bodh Gaya placements 2020-22 were Amazon, BNY Mellon, McKinsey & Co, Morgan Stanley, and Deloitte.
A significant number of first-time recruiters were also present in the MBA placement drive, who employed the students.
Crompton Greaves, Berger Paints, Aditya Birla Group, Cognizant, Accenture, HDFC Bank, ICICI Securities, TATA AIG, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Hindalco Industries, Dalmia Bharat Group, Emami Agrotech, among the first-time recruiters.
Speaking about the conclusion of the final placements, Vinita Sahay, Director, IIM Bodh Gaya said that the recruiters across industries have reinforced their faith in the MBA students, which is the reason for IIMBG to successfully complete its final placement process for the sixth batch of its flagship two-year MBA Programme.
The recruiters offered lucrative opportunities to the MBA students with an average package of INR 12.36 LPA and INR 30.50 LPA was the highest package recorded by the institute, which exceeded the previous placement season by 24.49% and 73.41%, she said.
Further, the institute witnessed the significant participation from many first-time recruiters offering double-digit packages to the MBA students this year. The organizations visiting the placement drive and offering lucrative packages in the final placement process exhibit the corporate world's faith in IIM Bodh Gaya students, she added.
Having achieved another milestone in the placements, Teena Bharti, Chairperson, Career Development Cell said that the institute will strive to achieve greater heights as a management institute.
Moreover, the institute aims to continually grow as a managerial powerhouse and triumphantly complete every placement season with tremendous success. With long confident strides towards an enlightened and sustainable future, IIM Bodh Gaya shall indeed be a behemoth to look up to, she concluded.
About IIM Bodh Gaya
IIM Bodhgaya is the 16th member of the IIM family and is mentored by IIM Calcutta. The institute offers MBA/ PGP courses, for which the admission is granted based on the candidate’s CAT Score.
IIM Bodhgaya along with other Baby IIMS conducts its MBA Admission process via CAP (Common Admission Process) and the shortlisting for CAP is based on CAT Cutoff, which is expected to remain 93 percentile for MBA Admission. In addition, the institute also hosts a Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) for candidates who do not qualify for CAP.
