IIM Calcutta Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management Admission 2022 Begins; Last Date to Apply is May 25

New Delhi: IIM Calcutta (IIMC) has begun the application process for Advanced Programme in Supply Chain Management Admission for the current academic session of 2022-23. This is the 10th batch of this one year long programme. The programme is for the working professionals and they can submit their online applications through the official portal, iimc.emeritus.org. 

IIMC offers this programme each year, in collaboration with emeritus and online platforms. The primary aim of conducting this course is to upskill the working professionals in the field of Supply Chain Management and boost their career growth. The programme is also extremely beneficial for candidates from the Manufacturing sector. The course is to offer modelling, analytical and contemporary strategies. Candidates seeking admission to this course can submit their applications till May 25, 2022. The class will begin from June 30. 

Megha Sharma, the Associate Professor, Operations Management, has commented that in today’s constantly evolving business world, fast innovations in this field requires sufficient knowledge and experience. As per an official report, India is to contribute in the field of Supply Chain Management more than USD 500 billion by 2030.

He also adds that candidates participating in this programme, will be able to optimise, develop and transform their career in Supply Chain Management field.

The ideal candidates for this programme are as mentioned below:

• Aspiring candidates must have a graduation degree (10+2+3) or Diploma degree or Postgraduate degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from any recognised university
• The candidates must have 3 years of work experience in logistics and supply chain management
• Candidates with less than 50% marks in graduation but 50% marks in postgraduate are also eligible

Mohan Kannegal, the CEO (India & APEC), of Emeritus, has further commented that technological evolution is making the field of Supply Chain Management complex and exclusive. As per a report by Gartner, 50% of this field will be severely dependent on technology by 2025. Therefore, it will be the ideal time for interested candidates to upskill their talents.
