New Delhi: On November 11, 2022, IIM Indore organised its greatest cultural and management festival in Central India and the institute's annual sports festival "Ranbhoomi" with peak enthusiasm. The three-day spectacle of events included various competitions, and performances by renowned performers.
Over 1000 people attended the event physically, and 60,000 people participated online at IIM Indore. The much-anticipated event included Comedy Night with Samay Raina, the reigning comic, who captivated everyone with his brilliant wit and had the audience in splits.
Following the opening ceremony, IRIS's flagship events, including Ashwamedha, Drona, Finance League, Clueless and Ranbhoomi's events - cricket, football, and basketball - as well as management sports like auctions, business pitches, chess and poker, further fueled the enthusiasm and excitement.
According to the institute's official press release, day 2 was embraced with the same zeal and excitement. Participants from across the nation gave it their all when it came to presenting their original concepts and remedies for prestigious management competitions like Chanakya, Ashwamedha, and Gordion Knot.
With their CSR initiative, Milestone accomplished great things, engaging more than 100 kids in fun activities. Sai Teja Nandigram and Ananya Mankal S from IIM Indore were named the Campus Prince and Princess at the premier fashion event, Lavanya, in a captivating ramp performance that was evaluated by the extremely elegant Aashita Singh.
Several participants in the dance competition, known as Lasya, gave the audience a sight to behold by dancing fervently. The Ranbhoomi teams surged into day 2's struggles for victory and battled valiantly to secure their spots in the finals.
Participants were encouraged to put on their dancing shoes for an official DJ Redbull Night and dance the night away to cap off yet another amazing day. Happy dancing faces were cut through by energising music and mind-bending beats, which infused the crowd with boundless energy.
The events of IRIS-Ranbhoomi came to a suitable conclusion on the last day. The auditorium was filled with music provided by Voice of Indore, while attendance and engagement at the flagship event, Neetishashtra, reached record highs.
Winners were announced at the sporting events, and teams came together to display wonderful sportsmanship. Neeti Mohan, a Bollywood singer, stunned the crowds as she capped this three-day extravaganza with her performance. To end this year's IRIS-Ranbhoomi with a bang, people gathered to sing her songs and have a grand time.
