New Delhi: IIM Indore has partnered with the Asia University in Taiwan by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide world-class education.
The partnership between IIM Indore and Asia University was formed with the intention of providing its members with academics that are both contextually relevant and of the highest calibre, as well as of keeping them up to date with global standards.
The management institute has partnered with many prestigious educational institutions both in India and abroad.
The MoU was signed between Professor Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, and Professor Jeffrey JP Tsai, President, Asia University, Taiwan.
Professor Jeffrey JP Tsai, President of Asia University in Taiwan, and Professor Himanshu Rai, Director of IIM Indore, signed the MoU as a part of the association.
Speaking about the partnership, Professor Rai stated that the primary goal of the MoU is to discover joint and dual degree programmes that are advantageous to the students of both parties'.
Expressing his delight, Prof Rai said that the institute is looking forward to working with Asia University in Taiwan.
The objective of IIM Indore is to create leaders, managers, and businesspeople who are socially concerned. This is consistent with the mission of Asia University, which is to develop global citizens with moral character, a positive attitude, and both professional and humanistic traits, he said.
According to the Director, the collaboration will provide a forum for faculty and student interaction as well as the exchange of research and educational data for use in instruction and training.
He remarked that the institute is looking forward to welcoming academics and students to take part in academic activities like exhibitions, talks, conferences, symposia, and workshops.
Sharing his excitement over this collaboration, Professor Tsai said that the university is delighted to partner with IIM Indore, one of the prominent B-schools in the country with three esteemed international accreditations.
Prof Tsai said that the association will put special emphasis on promoting the sharing of knowledge and ideas for everyone's gain. In addition, the varsity also intends to encourage collaborative research initiatives in areas of shared interest.
