IIM Kozhikode Secured 100% Summer Placement, Highest Stipend Bagged is Rs 3.74 lakh


IIM Kozhikode has successfully completed the summer placements drive for the 25th batch of its Post Graduate Program (PGP), as well as the second batches of PGP Liberal Studies and Management and PGP Finance by Day 3 of the recruitment program. The recruitment drive drew 132 recruiters, providing internships to 559 students, with the highest stipend of Rs 3.74 lakh. The average stipend for the cohort is Rs 2 lakh, a 6.4 percent rise over the previous year. The median stipend was Rs 2 lakh, with the top half of students receiving an average stipend of Rs 2.57 lakh.

The cohort included applicants with an average of 26 months of pre-MBA job experience, 39% gender diversity, and 40% non-engineering degrees. During this year's virtual placement season of IIM Kozhikode, premier recruiters were hired from the varied talent pool on offer throughout the batch of the flagship PGP course, as well as the second batches of the PGP Liberal Studies and Management and the PGP Finance programs.

Participation from Front End Investment Banking and Private Equity/Venture Capitalists, as well as prominent consultancy firms, was among the significant highlights. Well-known firms and new recruiters participated in the IIM Kozhikode Placement 2021, including Avendus Capital, Bain & Company, FinIQ Consulting, Johnson & Johnson, Loreal, Marico, Myntra, PepsiCo, Reliance, and Reliance Nippon Life Insurance. This year, the college hosted a total of 64 new recruiters from all domains.

The most sought-after positions on campus were in sales and marketing, consulting, and finance, accounting for up to 73% of all offers made. Top recruiters such as Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Asian Paints, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Citibank, Deloitte USI, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Google, JP Morgan Chase, Microsoft, PwC, and TAS extended 146 offers to almost 21% of the cohort.

Sales and marketing provided 25% of campus offerings, with Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, Coca-Cola, HUL, ITC, Johnson & Johnson, Loreal, Lubrizol, Marico, Nestle, PepsiCo, Pidilite, Reckitt Benckiser, and Samsung among those involved.
