IIM Raipur Online MBA Degree Program: Check Eligibility, Fees and Application Dates

IIM Raipur had launched a two-year online MBA programme in 2020 for entrepreneurs and working professionals. A first-ever online MBA programme offered by IIM wherein the students are required to attend two campus visits of five days each along with online classes and will be awarded degrees only upon completion. In collaboration with Nulearn, the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (ePGP) is administered.

At the launch of the programme in 2020, Dainik Bhaskar quoted Dr Bharat Bhaskar, Director, IIM Raipur saying that the working professionals and the managers of prominent companies are doing a one-year diploma at IIM Raipur where they feel difficult to come to the institute for two days a week on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Meanwhile, the demand for online education increased during the lockdown and that is when the idea of introducing a two-year online degree course was considered.

ePGP at IIM Raipur: Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Interested candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria. 

• Two years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience in any field 
• Bachelor's level or any equivalent degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks overall. 

Admissions at IIM Raipur for the ePGP programme would be offered to the candidates based on their academic attainments, work experience, followed by their performance in a personal interview. However, the CAT exam score is not required for admission to the ePGP programme.

ePGP at IIM Raipur: Programme Structure & Class Schedule 

Previously, the first batch of the ePGP programme consisted of 90 students. The online classes will be conducted by the current faculty members of IIM Raipur and it will be held three days a week on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday with a live and interactive approach. During the weekends, the classes will be conducted for nine hours and on a weekday 3-hour class is administered.

The course curriculum of the programme has been designed by IIM Raipur, which is as follows.

• Core courses: 450 hours 
• Elective course: 150 hours 
• Advanced core courses: 300 hours 
• Integrated business simulation project which will focus on the application of managerial concepts in a real-life setting
• Mini dissertation will be carried out under the supervision of a faculty member.

ePGP at IIM Raipur: Fee Structure

IIM Raipur has set the fee structure of the ePGP programme within six terms. Candidates are required to pay INR 9.7 lakhs for the course. The amount includes a refundable caution deposit of INR 20,000. Foreign students interested to apply for the ePGP programme can avail their applications and pay USD 15,000 for the course.
