New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ranchi has announced that it will train the headmasters of model schools for the coming three years. This step will be taken in collaboration with the JEPC to support the establishment of model schools across the state.

As per IIM Ranchi, the institute has signed a memorandum of understanding or MOU with the Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) under which it will provide support to the state government in establishing 405 Adarsh Vidyalayas in the state.
Informing about the collaboration, Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Director of IIM Ranchi said, “This collaboration with the government of Jharkhand is further evidence of our philosophy of global excellence with locally-focused responsiveness".
"We are not only preparing our students to be industry-ready, but also contributing to society and the nation’s development. We will continue working hard to give back to society", he further added.
In the first phase of the program, the institute will provide this leadership training to headmasters of 80 model schools on campus. To train the headmaster in the best way possible, participants will provide an impact assessment to evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs.
In other news, IIM Calcutta has launched its upcoming MDP on Becoming An Effective Sales Manager which will start from November 7 to 11, 2022. The program is open to candidates whose principal responsibilities lie in generating demand, revenues, and profits from new and existing products.
