IIM Sambalpur Placement 2022: Highest Salary Offered at Rs 41 Lakhs; Check Details Here


New Delhi: IIM Sambalpur completed its final placements for the 2020-22 batch and recorded 100% placement in hybrid mode amidst pandemic. It witnessed more than 100 companies participation offering 219 roles this season.

This season recorded the highest domestic annual CTC offered at 30 LPA and the highest international CTC offered at 41 LPA and secured 26.19 LPA with the top 25% CTC at INR 17.11 LPA. 

IIM Sambalpur also witnessed a significant rise in the average package at INR 12.64 LPA as well as the median package standing at INR 11.42 LPA.

Prof Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director, IIM Sambalpur on completion of 100% Placement 2022, said, "IIM Sambalpur, the fastest-growing IIM, is uniquely located in the heart of the Industrial hub in India. The distinct pedagogy of the institute is a driver for building up a cadre of academically strong and technically efficient professionals, thereby creating responsible leaders for the future." 

With a more than 50% rise in new companies visiting for recruiting, IIM Sambalpur has set its unique standards and surpassed its previous placement records.

65% of the batch chose IT and BFSI companies, which emerged as the most sought-after industries, followed by Consulting and Manufacturing. Despite the pandemic, the current class of 156 students was the first to use a hybrid approach for academics and successfully complete virtual campus placements.

The prominent recruiters for IIM Sambalpur placement session 2020-22 were Bajaj Allianz, ZS Associates, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Amul, Vedanta, Berger Paints, Bharat Serums and Vaccines, DHL Supply Chain India, Tata Steel BSL, Accenture, Avvashya Group, Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Darashaw, ICICI Prudential, Trident, MTR Foods, Larsen & Toubro, etc. 

The graduates were offered a myriad of lucrative roles across Marketing, Sales, BFSI, Operations, Consulting, Analytics, ITeS and bagged highly coveted roles in Fintech, E-Commerce, FMCG, and so on.
