New Delhi: IIM Trichy has conducted its 10th annual convocation for students of the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), Human Resources (PGPM HR), Business Management (PGPBM), and DPM Program on Sunday, May 08, 2022.
The event was held on IIM Trichy's campus ground, during which students were awarded PG degrees. During the event, performance awards were given to students in the presence of Ashishkumar Chauhan, the Managing Director and CEO of BSE Limited.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashishkumar Chauhan encouraged students to practice gratitude and develop responsibility and curiosity to succeed in life. "Students need to find innovative solutions and bring changes that align with the reality of today’s world" he added.
In the academic year 2020-22 report, the Director of IIM Trichy, Pawan Kumar Singh listed students' achievements in various fields including sports, corporate, and B-school competitions which were held during the academic session.
Archives of some of the B.School competitions like Tata Crucible Campus Quiz, Microsoft PM Engage, Reliance TUP 7.0, Welspun Disruptor, and Bond with Pidilite were also included in the academic year 2020-22 report.
Talking about the overall placement data, Prof. Pawan Kumar Singh, IIM Trichy Faculty stated that the institute recorded its regular recruiters on the campus ground during the IIM Tiruchi Placement 2022 drive.
The placement drive was conducted for last year's batch of IIM Trichy PG Courses, such as the Post Graduate Programme in Management, Post-Graduate Program in Human Resources, Post Graduate Programme in Business Management (PGPBM), and DPM program.
Some of the prominent recruiters of the institute for the IIM Trichy Placement 2022 session were McKinsey, JP Morgan Chase, Avalon Consulting, BNY Mellon, and Deloitte, and new recruiters such as Nomura, Samsung, Amazon, Accenture, and Wells Fargo among others.
Referring to the academic report, the Director of IIM Trichy, Pawan Kumar Singh also informed about the various academic collaborations of the institute with nine foreign universities for student exchange programs during the academic session 2020-22.
The collaboration was done with some of the top foreign universities such as Emlyon Business School in France, ISCTE Business School in Portugal, and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany, the report added.
