IIM Trichy Hosts Annual Alumni Meet, IIMpressions 2023

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli hosted a three-day annual alumni meet, IIMpressions 2023. The occasion made the alumni reminisce about the time spent on campus and also helped to strengthen their relationships with one another. The event started with an invocation song and the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.

After that, Professor K. S. Manikandan, Chairperson of Alumni Relations, IIM Trichy, gave a welcome speech in which he expressed his gratitude for the alumni's attendance and noted that because of their close ties to the institution, alumni are the most important stakeholders. Addressing the spectators, Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director, IIM Trichy, expressed his gratitude for the alumni's attendance. He then launched the alumni mentorship program and emphasized the importance of the topic "Joy of Struggle" as it is incredibly fulfilling to share knowledge and experience with others. During the ceremony, the inaugural edition of the annual alumni newsletter, Alumni Digest, as well as the start of the alumni mentorship program, which will help current students receive better assistance, were also unveiled. Alumni and teachers were also invited to participate in other entertaining events, such as musical chairs, which were followed by sky lanterns. The institute's Alumni Committee organized a number of entertaining games over the course of three days, including a maze game that tested participants' team-building abilities and pictionary, which helped alumni and current students connect more. The games were followed by spirited performances by the alumni. In order to make "IIMpressions" a memorable occasion for the alumni, additional recreational activities, such as a treasure hunt, which required the alumni to once again explore the entire campus with fervor and excitement, were also organized.
