The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Trichy has collaborated with Jaro Education to offer a one-year postgraduate certificate programme in Banking and Finance. 

IIM Trichy has designed the interdisciplinary one-year programme to build a high-quality academic rigour and to enhance a scalable career in the banking and financial industry. The one-year programme will enable the students to envision success and scale new levels of opportunities around the world. 

The main objective of the postgraduate certificate programme in banking and finance is to support transformation of the banking sector in the digital world and equip the professionals with requisite skill-sets.

In collaboration with IIM Trichy, Ranjita Raman, Chief Executive Officer, Jaro Education said that the economic activity is likely to drive credit growth, forecasts to be 10-13 per cent annually and India’s digital lending stood at US$75 billion in FY18 and is estimated to reach US$1 trillion by FY23, which is almost a five-fold increase in digital infrastructure.

The techno-functional and interdisciplinary postgraduate programme will assist the professionals in the banking and financial sector to build key skill sets, he said.
