New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam has recently launched its own online Executive Postgraduate Certificate Program in General Management for working professionals and interested candidates for academic session 2022-23.
The inauguration event for the online executive program of IIM Visakhapatnam was held in the presence of Professor M Chandrasekhar, Director of the institute, faculty and staff members, and sixty-six participants who joined the program.
Talking on this occasion, Professor Chandrasekhar said, "the learning and takeaways of this one-year program will enhance the skill sets of professionals working in any domain and enable them to contribute to the triple bottom line of the organization".
The IIM Visakhapatnam PG Program 2022 is specially designed for working executives, professionals, and scholars who wish to learn about the implication of digital business models and data analytics on the business environment can take admission into the course.
As per IIM Visakhapatnam, "The program shapes you with a pertinent outlook and expert knowledge that will enable you to work across different management responsibilities and cultures effectively”.
“It will foster your ability to guide and follow in this ever-changing, highly competitive, dynamic business environment". The program includes the necessary skills required to lead global organizations.
In addition to this, the post-graduate certificate program in general management will introduce participants to various areas of the management field, such as finance, marketing, operations, HR, strategy, analytics, entrepreneurship, and more.
The topics that will be covered during the program are Managerial Economics, Managing People & Organizations, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Business Analytics
Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Digital Transformation among others.
Classes for the IIM Visakhapatnam program will commence in online mode on weekends. The fully integrated management program will focus on emerging themes taught by an expert faculty panel. The institute started the program on May 29, 2022, for all registered participants.
