New Delhi: IIT Bhubaneswar will be conducting the exam for the final semester of 2022 of all courses except BTech from April 28, 2022.
The final semester examination of the undergraduate and postgraduate students for various courses except for B.Tech students of the Indian Institute of Technology , Bhubaneswar will be held between April 28- May 10, 2022.
The institution had already started the offline classes of the students from September 2021 to complete the courses in time.
According to TOI, the primary reason for the delay in the academic calendar of BTech students is that the counseling for admission in the BTech course took place on November 19, 2021. The students got admission to IIT Bhubaneswar for the BTech course on November 25, 2021, then their classes commenced from January 3, 2022.
BTech final semester exam
In IIT Bhubaneswar the second semester classes for the 1st year students of BTech have already begun from March 14. The mid-semester examination for these students will start from April 28 and up till May 2, 2022. Their last class before the commencement of the final semester exam of 1st year BTech would be on June 17, 2022.
Final semester exams for first-year BTech students will begin from June 20 and continue till June 23 2022.

On Pandemic Situation
IIT Bhubaneswar director R V Raja Kumar said the institution didn’t make any compromise with students' education during the pandemic situation.
He also added that the examinations have been conducted and also hands-on laboratory classes were taken with the presence of students on the campus during the COVID. The semester duration was retained properly and the institution has always taught lessons to its students despite the pandemic situation.
