IIT Hyderabad Admission 2022-23 Open for PhD in Sustainability Science and Technology Program; Apply till Nov 18

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad is inviting applications for admission to its PhD Program in Sustainability Science and Technology discipline offered by the Climate Change Department. Interested candidates can apply online till November 18, 2022.

As per IIT Hyderabad, admission to the PhD program is open for candidates who have completed their master’s or professional degree in the required field from any recognised university. Applicants should have at least a 7.0 CGPA in qualifying degrees to apply for admission. 

Following the IIT Hyderabad PhD Admission 2022, criteria, the selection of applicants for admission seats will be done through a rigorous selection process and their performance will be reviewed annually for continuation of fellowship List of selected candidates will be released

after selection. 

“Selected applicants will be communicated through emails. The list will also be made available on the departmental web page. The applicants should ensure the accuracy of the email address provided and check their email regularly for updates” the official notice informs.

IIT Hyderabad PhD Admission 2022-23: How to Apply Online?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad at iith.ac.in.

Step 2: From the homepage, select the “PhD Admission Portal is now open” option and click on the option “Click here to apply” to apply.

Step 3: Fill out the details as per the application form along with the application fee. 

Step 4: Submit the application form and keep a copy of the same for future reference. 

The official notice reads, “the total program duration is five years. The PhD program is considered complete on successful defense and submission of the PhD research thesis and publication of at least two Scopus-indexed original research articles”.
