New Delhi: The IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre (IIML EIC) and IIT Kanpur Technopark have collaborated to launch a 6-month accelerator programme in the fields of DeepTech and IoT.
IIT Kanpur and IIM Lucknow have developed the programme with the goal of improving the product development of early-stage, growth-driven companies operating in the domain. The admission window is now open and the deadline to apply is April 30, 2022.
Around 6-10 selected startups will validate their technology, obtain better product-market fit, become market-ready enterprises, concept expandable and viable business models, streamline the fundraising strategy, achieve market validation through pilots, and gain access to the market and investor channel through this 6 months course.
The IIML EIC will work closely with the onboarded entrepreneurs throughout the duration of the programme to identify their challenges and gaps through a need assessment workshop. It will assist startups in bringing their creative ideas to commercialisation and identifying market possibilities. The programme provide DeepTech entrepreneurs with the chance to obtain immersive learning and accelerate their growth.
Prof Anadi Pande, faculty-in-charge, IIML EIC said, “The entrepreneurship and startups are quietly creating an economic revolution in India. Technopark@iitk and IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Centre have entered into a strategic alliance to jointly launch an impactful accelerator programme for early to growth-stage startups working in Deep-Tech and IoT”.
According to a press release, it is one of the few occasions when the two premier institutes of higher education have joined hands to accelerate the startup ecosystem with each bringing its unique and unparalleled strengths to the joint accelerator programme.
