IIT Kharagpur, University of Manchester Launch Joint Doctoral Program 2022: Check to Apply Here

New Delhi: IIT Kharagpur and the University of Manchester have recently launched a joint doctoral program for session 2022-23. Candidates who are interested in the program can register on the IIT-K website, international.iitkgp.ac.in.

With the launch of the four-year PhD program, IIT Kharagpur will also provide three full scholarship opportunities to students for the program. The scholarship will be provided to three selected candidates who will meet the criteria. 

Indian candidates who have completed their postgraduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 can submit their registrations on the institute’s website. The registration portal will be open till March 06, 2022.

IIT Kharagpur Joint Doctoral Program 2022: Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible for the Joint Doctoral Program of IIT Kharagpur and University of Manchester, candidates are required to meet the below-mentioned criteria: 

For Indian Candidates: B.Tech or M.Tech / M.Sc. or any Graduate Degree with a minimum CGPA of 7.5.

For Candidates from the UK or other Nations: Bachelors or Masters Graduates in Science, Engineering, or Related Fields from a reputed university with a minimum first class or equivalent, or minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.

Screening Requirement: Candidates should have English Language IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in every category, or equivalent.
