IIT Madras Announces the Second Session of Online Emobility Certificate Course

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has started the second batch of the online E-mobility certificate programme. High enrolment was seen in the first cohort, which started in September 2022.

The IIT Madras programme, devised for working professionals, is meant to give a summary of the e-Mobility industry and fundamental technological concepts. Nevertheless, the second cohort's registration due date is March 20, 2023. The fee for the certificate program is INR 1.50 Lac.

The fundamentals of technical disciplines including, but not limited to, power electronics, battery engineering, thermal management, power trains, and EMI/EMC will be covered in this course. The IIT Madras Center for Outreach and Digital Education is delivering it (CODE).

Course for an Online e-mobility Certificate

40 hours of online interactive live courses with scholars are included in the program's 120 hours of video lectures. Coursework and final exam assessments must be completed by individuals. They will then be awarded the certificate. The start date for the second cohort is set for April 20, 2023.

Devendra Jalihal, chairman of the Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE), IIT Madras, continued by describing the curriculum. "We collaborated with Industry experts and built this program to accommodate Working Individuals who are eager to obtain an overview of eMobility," he stated.
