New Delhi: Pre-placement offers (PPOs) have increased from 56 last year to 69 this year at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi (as of November 16).
Sprinklr, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Indeed, Uber, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Siemens, Samsung Research Institute Bangalore, Schrodinger, Walmart, Zomato, Texas Instruments, ODE, Arista Networks, Yum, Radisys, Accenture, Aakash+Byju, Nucleus Software, Western Digital, and Nohara Holdings, Inc. are additional multinational corporations that provided PPOs to IIT Mandi students.
Among the participating businesses, Sprinklr, Texas Instruments, Uber, Arista Networks, Radisys, ODE, Zomato, Aakash+Byju, Nohara Holdings, and Company: Nohara Holdings, Inc. are among the first-time recruiters.
The majority of PPOs thus far this academic year have come from the data science and software analyst industries. According to the institute, the addition of student internships lasting six months significantly increased the number of internships lasting a semester.
Companies may offer PPOs up until December 1, 2022, when the first wave of placements is planned to start.
