New Delhi: IIT Palakkad is to introduce a series of online programmes such as Cyber Security and Cloud Computing from next year. The institute is going to launch these courses in collaboration with Jaro Education, an edtech platform. Interested candidates can register from July 2, 2022.
Working professionals can participate in the courses by IIT Palakkad as well. They won’t need to produce a JEE score to apply for these courses. On completion of the courses, professionals will be able to obtain a prestigious alumni standing and PG certification. IIT Palakkad Admission 2022: Cloud Computing and Cyber Security Eligibility Criteria
Aspiring candidates can take note of the following eligibility criteria required for applying to these new courses:
- Students must have a Bachelor’s degree with knowledge in Computer Programming with C/ Java/ C++
- They also need to have 4 years of work experience
IIT Palakkad Admission 2022: Cloud Computing and Cyber Security Course Fees
As per the notification, the courses will have approximately 45 sessions, arranged within 1 year.
The programme fees will most likely be around INR 1, 10, 000 with additional GST charges. The candidates can pay the fees in instalments as well. As part of the programme, the learners will have live online classes as well. This way, the learners can learn through the synchronous and asynchronous learning modes.
IIT Palakkad Admission 2022: Aim of the Courses
The primary purpose of the course is to fulfil the increasing demand for professionals with the knowledge of Cloud Computing and Cyber Security, as claimed by the Jaro Education. The Learners will be introduced to Big Data Programming patterns such as map reduce, data flow, NoSQL Storage Systems, required to build the cloud applications.
As per a recent report, the global information technology market is most likely to grow $13, 818.98 billion by the year 2026 at the CAGR of 10.3%. Technological advancement, therefore, will always be considered an advancement.
