Indian School of Business Hyderabad Prepares to Expand its Campus; Details Here


Indian School of Business, Hyderabad is now preparing to expand its existing infrastructure by constructing additional buildings on the campus ground. The proposed expansion project will extend the campus area to 1,00,000 sq m under the project cost of INR 450 crore. 

As per the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, the institute will expand its present 250 acres campus ground by building additional infrastructure and buildings with a total built-up area (BUA) of 1,00,000 sq m. The construction will be done under the guidance of ISB. 

As of now, the current infrastructure of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad is spread in a total BUA of 1,22,628 sq m. The expansion project of the institute has been approved by the State-level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA).

After receiving the environmental clearance (EC) for the proposed expansion project by SEIAA, the institute will start the construction work of a total BUA of 1,00,000 sq m in two-phase. The first phase will cover an area of 53,750 sq m, while the second will include 46,250 sq m.

As per the report filed by the institute, the ISB Hyderabad will develop a Facility Research Centre (FRC) -I (Block 12A, 12B, 12C, and 12D) on the campus ground, which will be spread across 24,150 sq m during the phase 1 expansion. 

Additionally, the construction work for Executive Housing (Blocks 13A, 13B, and 13C) and Service Block (Block 14A and 14B) will also start on the campus ground in 26,600 sq m and 3,000 sq m area each.

While in the phase 2 expansion, ISB is preparing to start the development process of an Executive Housing with 104 Rooms. The work will be spread across 10,150 sq m along with the institute’s FRC-II in a 36,100 sq m total BUA.

Referring to the new infrastructure model of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, the report reads that the total BUA of campus will be 2,22,628 sq m after the phase 2 development. The expansion model will also develop the parking area of the institute during the phases. 

The construction work for expansion model phase 1 is expected to take a 24-month duration, while the second phase will be done in 24 months. With these constructions, students can expect to see various new facilities and state of art infrastructure models on campus ground.
