IP University Warns Students against Fraud Promises for Admission

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University issued a warning for the students against touts and frauds promising admission to the varsity.

The admission in GGSIP University and all affiliated Colleges are done through a complete merit based process via Centralised Counseling Process held online on the official website of GGSIP University however, for some programmes, counseling process happens through offline process.

GGSIPU 2020: Important Dates

In a notice released recently, the university said it has received several complaints from the candidates who have been approached by alleged representatives of the university promising them direct admission for a price.

These agents are also sending text messages/emails/Whatsapp messages to the candidates promising Direct Admission in the GGSIPU affiliated university. These agents have somehow managed to obtain the aspirant’s mobile number and start to spam continuously.

The varsity has already filed an FIR against those frauds and will make sure it will never happen again. The varsity has also advised the candidates and their parents to visit the official website of GGSIPU for the admission notices and for filling the application form, that is, ipu.admission.nic.in.
