Candidates passed three years Engineering Diploma from a recognized Institution in U.P with 45% (40% for SC/ST) or; Candidates who have passed B.Sc and XII with Maths as one of the subject’ from any recognized institute, securing 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate, are also eligible for admission to the second year in any branch of Engineering/ Technology. Candidates who have passed the B.Tech entrance exam from other than UP and whose parents are not domicile of UP state are not eligible for direct admission to the second year. |

- Firstly the applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam (UPSEE/ CAT/ MAT).
- Shortlisted candidates then have to appear for the group discussion or personal interview rounds.
