Jharkhand Unit of Private Schools and Children Welfare Association (JPSCWA) has petitioned State Court to provide some exemption to reopen schools for class 10-12 in order to prepare them for board exams in February 2021.
JPSCWA has written a petition to the Chief Minister Hemant Soren demanding exemptions for Covid-19 guidelines to resume the physical classes for standard 10-12 on November 23, 2020

JPSC Jharkhand President in one of his official statements has said that since the JAC board exams 2021 and the intermediate exams will be conducted as per their schedule then the state government should also consider student’s higher education.
Schools should be permitted to operate as per the Covid19 protocols to prepare the students for their board exams. Also emphasizing on the board exam, he further said practicals and mock tests should be conducted offline only.

For these activities, it is necessary for schools to resume their operations as before. After several requests from the Private Schools and Children Welfare Association, the government has continued the suspension of the educational institutions due to the pandemic situation.
With these guidelines by the central Government, the Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC) drafted a proposal that stated that only 20 students must be there in a class on a particular date with overall 50% teaching staff availability in the school.
The proposal was sent to The Secondary Education Wing which did not send the same to the state disaster management department.
