Jadavpur University offers a 2 year full-time Bachelor's of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) programme. Candidates seeking admission to the programme can submit their applications till April 23, 2022.

Jadavpur University B.P.Ed Admission 2022: Highlights 

For enrolling in the B.P.Ed programme of Jadavpur University, it is compulsory for candidates to have a fitness certificate from a registered Medical Practitioner at the time of the entrance exam. 

Shortlisted candidates need to submit another fitness certificate when reporting on the day for offline classes.

Jadavpur University B.P.Ed Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% and participation in the Inter-College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in sports as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India; or
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with 45%; or
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% and studied Physical Education as compulsory/elective subject; or
• Bachelor’s degree with 45% and having participated in National/ Inter-University/ State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/ Inter-Zonal/District/ School competition in sports as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India; or
• Bachelor’s degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India; or
• Graduation with 45% marks and 3 years of teaching experience as a physical education teacher/coach.

Jadavpur University B.P.Ed Admission 2022: Selection Process

• Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of a practical admission test, academic results and a written test. 
• Out of 50 seats, 38 seats are reserved for male students and 12 seats for female students. 
• All eligible applicants will be required to appear at the Admission Test (Practical & Written) on the specified date and time 
• Candidates also need to go through an interview round after the Practical Test on the same day.
