Jadavpur University Extends Admission 2020-21 Season by 7 Days; Details Here

January 04, 2021: Jadavpur University has extended the deadline for admissions by seven days for undergraduate courses in various subjects. 

Jadavpur University has appealed for a date extension to fill vacant seats in some of the courses to the Higher Education Department under the West Bengal department. The approval for the same was given 48 hours after the appeal. 

Earlier, Jadavpur University had invited applications to apply for B. Sc courses admission, for which admission seats are still vacant.

As per reports published, more than one-third of undergraduate seats are vacant this year. The Higher Education Department stated that with the extension of this deadline, many students on the waiting list would take admission into some of the subjects available at the university.
