New Delhi: Jadavpur University has begun the application process for admission to BA (Hons) and BSc (Hons) courses for the academic year 2022-2023. Candidates can apply online through the official website jaduniv.edu.in

Jadavpur University offers various undergraduate programmes in the department of arts, science, engineering and technology. The duration of the BA (Hons) and BSc (Hons) courses is 3 years full-time. Candidates need to give an admission test for taking admission to the various courses.
Students who have not received their 10+2 results are also eligible to apply for the courses at Jadavpur University. However, they need to produce the certificates or mark sheets at the time of admission.

Eligibility Criteria for Physics, Chemistry, Geological Sciences
Candidates having passed 10+2 Examination from any recognized Board in Science with Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and securing at least 75% marks in average obtained in Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics are eligible.
In the case of the OBC-A/OBC-B category, the minimum requirement of marks is 67.5% on average obtained in the above-mentioned three(3) subjects. In the case of the SC/ST/PD/Sports category, the minimum requirement of marks is 56.25% on average obtained in the above-mentioned three(3) subjects. The minimum disability in the case of PD candidates is 40%.

Candidates having passed 10+2 Examination from any recognized Board in Science with Mathematics and best of any two subjects from Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science & Statistics and securing at least 75% marks in average obtained in above mentioned three(3) subjects are eligible.

Jadavpur University UG Admission 2022: Selection Process
Candidates are selected based on their merit in the last qualifying exam and in the admission test. The weightage given for selection criteria is 50% on aggregate percentage and 50% on admission test. Selected candidates are called for counselling rounds to take admission for the BA and BSc courses at Jadavpur University.
