New Delhi: Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM) Banglore, have successfully concluded its placement season for the academic session 2023-24, where over 50% PPOs were recorded and the highest salary stood at INR 85 lakh per annum (LPA).
The placements at JAGSoM have increased significantly and are currently at over 50%, even though the official placement procedure is still a few days away. According to the institute announcement, three students have received international offers, with the highest package being offered at INR 85 lakh.

During the JAGSoM Placements, the biggest domestic package offered was for INR 43 lakh, despite the institute's current average pay package being INR 17.2 lakh.
These PPOs have been expanded by more than 30 organisations, spanning the fields of information technology, consulting, NBFCs, automotive, banking, real estate, and growth-stage start-ups. Some of the prominent organisations offered pre-placement offers (PPOs), including Wipro, SAP Labs, Schneider Electric, Hexaware Technologies, Federal Bank, Classic Legends, and Berkadia.
Speaking about the placements, Prof. Rajesh Kumar, Chairperson, Internships and Placements, JAGSoM, said that our strategy is engagement driven in comparison to the "mela" driven placement practised by most B-Schools. It does not provide the recruiter and applicant a chance to get to know one another well, leading to a significant turnover rate in the first few years alone.
