New Delhi: The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University, has established an Entrepreneurship E-Cell as a one-stop platform to provide information about the intricacies of the entrepreneurship ecosystem among interested students.
JMI has set up the E-Cell to help the students in becoming resourceful entrepreneurs. It is planning to conduct multiple sessions, workshops, guest lectures by renowned and accurately experienced people from the world of entrepreneurship and startups.

JMI E-Cell and Investors Pool
The E-Cell will also provide all kinds of support and help to the current university students and alumni so that they can fulfil their dreams of becoming entrepreneurs to some extent. The idea is to help their dream reach the state of incubation and then a fully grown startup from the very basic state of an idea.
The university also added to its official statement that the Cell is building an investors pool and contacting multiple mentors and experts from the industry to provide resource allocation to the interested students with the help of the CIE, JMI.
Some of the workshops to happen within this E-Cell are related to the ideation, patents, intellectual property rights, funding pitch making, design, business canvas model. The Cell will also arrange several field trips to specific startups, incubation centres and other institutions related to the entrepreneurship set-up.

JMI Creates Clubs and Teams Created under E-Cell
There are many clubs related to the specific areas of entrepreneurship that have been created for this E-Cell. Those are:
- Programming Club
- Robotics Club
- Animation and Web Development Club
- Biotech Club
- Entrepreneurship Club
- Finance Club
- Research Club
There is the establishment of a number of teams to supervise the working of the above-mentioned clubs. These teams are:
- Events Planning Team
- Outreach and Corporate Relations Team
- Graphic Designing Team
- Social Media Team
- HR Team
There is also a core team to supervise the entire work of this cell. The team consists of President Ayush Kumar, Vice President Madiha Siddiqui and the Heads of all the clubs.
The Cell will also conduct multiple HACKATHONS, Toycathons, Coding Challenges, Robotics Challenges along with the guest lectures by entrepreneurs, investors and so on.
The CIE, JMI has created this E-Cell not just to promote entrepreneurship among its students but also among the community around the main campus. In near future, JMI is planning to create more such development programmes and short-term courses to help its students.
