New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to release the exam dates for JEE Main 2023 exam at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023 and nta.ac.in. Once released, interested candidates will be able to check the complete JEE Main 2023 schedule through the official website.

The JEE Main 2023 engineering entrance exam will be held twice next year for admission to BTech, BE, BArch, and planning programs at top participating institutes such as NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.
NTA is going to conduct the exam for a duration of 3 hours. JEE Main Question Paper for B.E/BTech will have a total of 90 questions of which candidates must answer 75 questions carrying 300 marks.
In addition to this, the JEE Main B.Arch and B.Planning question papers have a total of 82 and 105 questions respectively. Candidates have to answer 77 and 100 questions in each paper. Check the key highlights and live updates of JEE Main 2023 in this article below!

Candidates can fill out the JEE application fee in online mode through the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in and pay the application fee by using debit/credit/net banking/UPI methods.
After the release of JEE Main 2023 dates, candidates can check the release date of admit card on the official website. The admit will be released at least a week before the exam date on the official website of NTA JEE Main at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023.
Candidates can only submit their registrations for JEE Main 2023 in online mode only. Applications will not be accepted in offline mode. Additionally, candidates are required to meet the JEE Main 2023 eligibility criteria to apply for the entrance test.
According to JEE Main 2023 news, NTA Chief Vineet Joshi has confirmed that JEE Main 2023 notification is not going to be released this week. Candidates can expect the notification in the last week of December 2023.
Following the JEE Main 2023 Syllabus, each section in JEE Main 2023 Question Paper will have an equal weightage of 33.33%. However, some chapters in JEE Main Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics have a higher weightage as compared to other chapters.
With the help of JEE Main 2023 Chapter-Wise Weightage, candidates can understand the topics and sub-topics carrying a higher weightage in the exam. The number of questions mentioned in each of the chapter-wise weightage analysis is the total of questions asked across several exam sessions.
The JEE Main Percentage is a candidate’s marks, whereas JEE Percentile is the position of the candidate amongst others. If a candidate says they have 90 percentile, it means that there are 10 percent of candidates above them who have secured higher marks.
If candidates wish to secure their admission seats at top NITs in India, they have to secure higher rank and meet the estimated cut-off criteria of 1000-7000 for NIT Warangal, 500-5000 for NIT Trichy. Check the estimated cut-offs for NITs in the table below:

One after the release of JEE Main 2023 application form, eligible candidates have to upload their documents on the official website to complete their registrations. For uploading required documents, applicants have met the mentioned guidelines and document format styles.
To upload photographs, the document should be in 3.5cm X 4.5cm dimension and in JPG or JPEG format. Additionally, it should be of at least to 10kb minimum and maximum of 200kb size in order to be uploaded on the application form.
To register for JEE Main 2023, candidates are required to submit their online application form along with a copy of required documents and payment of application fee. The forms will not be accepted without application fee payment.
The JEE Main 2023 registration fee for male candidates is INR 650 and female candidates have to pay INR 325 to apply for B.E./ B.Tech or B.Arch or B.Planning papers. Applicants can pay the application fee through debit, credit or net banking means.
There is no age limit to appear in JEE Main. However, candidates might have to meet age criteria of institutes for taking admission.
NTA is yet to announce JEE Main 2023 Application Form release date. Candidates can expect JEE Main 2023 registration to begin in December 2023. The registration form link will be available on JEE Main official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. Eligible students will be able to register for the exam through JEE Main login.
There are a total of 37879 seats offered at NITs, IIITs and GFTIs based on JEE Main score. Meanwhile, 16598 seats are offered at IITs based on JEE Advanced scores.

JEE Main 2023 is expected to be conducted twice in January and April. Therefore, candidates will be provided with 2 attempts to score well in JEE Main 2023.

Based on the previous year trends, a candidate with percentile scores between 80-90 have a chance at admission to B.Tech courses offered at NITs. However, to get admission to top engineering branches such as CSE at NIT Trichy, General category candidates might require 99 percentile and above.
No JEE Main 2023 is expected to be held twice just like previous year. Candidates can expect JEE Main 2023 first attempt in January and second attempt in April next year. NTA is going to release the official updates soon on JEE Main official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

There is no age limit for JEE Mains exam. Candidates who have completed Class 12th in 2021, 2022 or are appearing for the board exams in 2023, irrespective of their age, are eligible to register for JEE Main 2023.
JEE Main Cut off is the minimum marks required by candidates to be eligible for JEE Advanced. The qualifying cut off for JEE Main is released in the form of minimum and maximum percentile.
The previous year JEE Main cut off increased from 87.8992241 (in 2021) to 88.4121383 (in 2022) for the General category while there was a drop in the qualifying cut off for OBC-NCL. In 2021, JEE Main Cut off for OBC- NCL category was 68.0234447 which has decreased to 67.0090297 in 2022.

Each year, NTA offers a seat reservation to candidates applying for JEE Mains. The seat reservation percentage is released along with the official brochure on JEE website- jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023. The JEE Mains 2023 will be held in two sessions for which the registration and application process will be conducted separately. The first session's JEE Main 2023 application form is expected to begin this month, while the second session's registration process will open later.

Step 2: On the home page, Click on the link 'JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Registration' given.
Step 3: It will redirect you to a new tab. Create your login credentials.

Step 6: Click on the submit button, download the application form and take a printout.
Candidates need to download the filled application form and take its printout for future reference. It is advised that candidates keep safe the print copy of the application form until the completion of the admission process.

Candidates who are preparing to register for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 Phase 1 and 2 exams are required to meet the below-mentioned JEE Main 2023 Eligibility criteria:
- To register for JEE Main 2023, candidates need to have class 12th qualifications or pass an equivalent qualifying exam in 2021 or 2022.
- Candidates appearing in class 12 or equivalent qualifying exam in 2023 can also apply for JEE Main.
- Candidates must note that there are no age limit criteria for JEE Main 2023.
- Students are advised to go through the detailed notification and eligibility criteria released on the official NTA website before applying for the entrance test.
- Those who do not meet the requirements will not be considered for admission seats.
Just like previous year, JEE Mains 2023 is going to be conducted twice. Candidates will get two attempts at JEE Main 2023, tentatively in the months of January and April.
The NTA has limited the number of attempts to JEE Main 2023 to three, i.e, if a candidate fails to qualify for JEE main on the first attempt, he or she can take the next two exams.
Candidates appearing for both phases of the same academic year are considered a single attempt and the best of the two scores is utilised for assigning the ranks.
