JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) has announced that they will accept scores of CEED exams for admission to MDes courses in the institute from 2021. Applicants with a valid CEED score can apply on the official website of the University; jklu.edu.in
JKLU offers MDes programme in 2 specialization- product design and interaction design. The 2-year programme is split into smaller modules. Applicants will have the option of joining the full 2-year degree or complete it in parts.

CEED exam is conducted by IIT Bombay for admission to various design courses. The institute also conducts joint counselling for admissions to a number of participating colleges.
Other than the institutes that participate in the counselling conducted by IIT Bombay, the CEED score is accepted by individual colleges. These colleges who accept CEED scores but do not participate in the counselling process are called CEED result sharing institutes.
CEED 2021 will be conducted on January 17 by IIT Bombay. Each year, around 5000 applicants appear in the CEED exam to seek admission in various designing courses.

Applicants who have a valid CEED score can register for the MDes course in JKLU by following these steps.
Step 1: Visit the official website of JKLU; jklu.edu.in
Step 2: Find the option for Apply Now on the homepage
Step 3: Find the MDes course among the options that appear
Step 4: Register yourself on the site by entering your information
Step 5: Now fill the application form by entering your details including the CEED score
Step 6: Pay the application fee of INR 600 and take a print out of the application form

JKLU MDes: Eligibility Criteria
Students who are interested in applying for MDes at JKLU should meet the following eligibility criteria.
- The applicant should have a minimum of 50% score or equivalent in a 3-year bachelor’s degree
- Students appearing in the final examination of bachelor degree are also eligible to apply
- Candidates must have a valid CEED score
