LPU Placement 2022 Sets Records Of 383 Students Placed With 10-64 LPA

New Delhi: LPU has recorded a benchmark of placements this year with 9585 students in dream packages. In the year 2022, as many as 383 LPU students have been placed at packages of 10-64 lacs per annum.

LPU has always been known for great placements; this year, LPU has created another placement benchmark. In the year 2022, not only one of the largest number of students have been placed in top companies but as many as 383 LPU students have been placed with packages of 10-64 lacs per annum. 

Following the data of LPU Placement 2022, Giants like Google have recruited LPU B.Tech. CSE pass out. Amazon has selected its students at 46.4 lakh package while niche companies like Paloalto have recruited students at 49.4 lakh package. With these figures in place, LPU’s average placement package would be one of the highest in the country.

As per reports, thousands of other LPU students from different courses are also placed at packages of up to 10 lacs. Big companies like Cognizant alone recruited more than 1410 students, Capgemini recruited more than 770 students, Wipro recruited more than 450 students, L & T Technology recruited more than 550 students, DXC Technology recruited more than 250 students and Highradius recruited more than 230 students at differential packages up to 10 lakhs.

According to the institution, Arjun has been placed at a package of 63 lakh straight from the campus. LPU BTech graduate Harekrishna Mahto joined Google’s Bangalore office in 2022 receiving a commendable package of INR 64 lakh.

Dr Ashok Kumar Mittal, Chancellor LPU said about the incredible packages received by the students, “LPU attracts the best companies for placements of its students as the companies also know that LPU provides its students’ industry-backed education. LPU students are armed with the knowledge of the latest technology in their domain, be it AI or blockchain or IOT or 3D printing or sustainable architecture.” Also, LPU is among the very few universities in the world to have industry-specific labs built into the university ecosystem where industry experts provide the training.”

Yasir M has created a placement record of getting a package of INR 3 crore. Yasir, a BTech CSE graduate from Kerala will be working in a multinational company. “While I was at LPU I got exposed to new age technology like AI, ML and also made friends from all across the world. This exposure and mentorship of the faculty has helped me to be prepared for a grand role and I am delighted that I made not my parents but the whole university and India proud by getting such a huge opportunity to work in Germany,” said Yasir. 

LPU Placement 2022: Highlights 

LPU has students from 28 states and around more than 50 countries, which makes LPU a university where students can get real global exposure right within India. It has a great placement record and also provides global opportunities through tie-ups with more than 300 universities. Hence Admission to LPU is a great opportunity for the students. 

LPU outshined all other universities in India and is amongst the few Indian universities which are ranked by global ranking systems such as Times Higher Education. The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022 have ranked LPU 74th globally, a feat which even the top central universities cannot boast of.

In the Times Higher Education World University rankings 2022, LPU has emerged 36th amongst the Top Universities of India (both Govt and Private). It has been ranked 2nd in Business & Economics subject, 8th in Clinical & Health subject, 9th in Computer Science subject, and 10th in Engineering and Life Sciences subjects amongst the Top Universities of India.

LPU Placement 2022: Statistics

431 students of LPU fresh 2021-22 batch are placed at a package of 10 lakh and above. Marquee recruiters have recruited a large number of students at differential packages of up to 10 lakh. 

Top companies that recruited one of the highest numbers from LPU include Cognizant which recruited over 670 LPU students, similarly, Capgemini recruited over 310 students, Wipro recruited over 310, MPhasis recruited over 210 and Accenture recruited above 150. 

By getting a placement package of Rs 3 crore, LPU student Yasir M has created a placement record. Hailing from Kerala, Yasir, a BTech CSE graduate from Lovely Professional University will be working for a multinational company.

The key highlights of LPU BTech placements 2022 are presented below:

Campus placement result is declared on the same day by almost every company, however, a few companies might announce the results after some time. A total of 1,190 companies visited the campus during LPU placements in 2022. Earlier, 906 and 710 companies visited the campus during LPU placements in 2021 and 2020, respectively.
