MCC Announces BDS Admissions via Offline Mode as Null and Void

New Delhi: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that BDS admissions through the offline mode will be considered as null and void.

The MCC issued a notice in this regard notifying all the dental colleges that the BDS admissions shall be made online and the admission letter will be generated through the INTRAMCC portal.

The committee has issued the notice after the completion of the second mop up round of BDS counselling. As per the schedule, the reporting was concluded on May 9, 2022.

According to the MCC notification, all the dental colleges/ institutes were directed to ensure that the candidate's admission to the BDS courses are done online (on the intramcc portal) and admission letters are generated through the same.

It has been instructed that offline admissions and admission letters not generated through the intramcc portal shall be considered as null and void.

Candidates seeking admissions into the courses must ensure that their admission letters are generated online via the portal provided by the MCC to the respective colleges.

The MCC notification also states that in case, if any college has taken offline admission, then the information in this regard should be sent to the MCC at the earliest on the email address: collegequery.mcc@gmail.com, till 3 PM on May 10, 2022.

If the MCC does not receive any information within the stipulated time, it will be deemed that the admissions have been made online and the MCC will proceed with the next seat processing for Stray Vacancy Round of BDS seats, the MCC notice said.

Earlier, the medical committee had issued the results for the 2nd mop-up round of NEET UG 2021 Counselling for B.Sc Nursing and BDS courses.

The 2nd mop-up round will be followed by the online stray vacancy filling round. All the eligible candidates who are not holding any seats will be applicable to participate in the online Stray Vacancy Round. It should be noted that there will be no new registration/ payment option for online stray vacancy rounds.

There will be no fresh choice filling facility for the online stray vacancy round. Candidate's exercising choices in the 2nd mop-up round will be considered for seat allotments for the stray vacancy round.
