In order to enroll for admission to the Mount Carmel College UG and PG courses, candidates will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

UG Courses: 

• Candidates must have passed class 10+2 exam conducted by the Karnataka Pre-University Education Board or any other examination considered equivalent thereto will be eligible for admission.

PG Courses: 

• Candidates must have scored 60% or 50% aggregate marks in Graduation from a recognized university.

• Admission to B.Com & B.Voc courses is done on the basis of marks in 10+2.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview round on the basis of their marks in class XII for BA, B.Sc and BCA Admissions. 
• M.Sc, MA and M.Com admissions will be done on the basis of merit.
• B.Com, B.Voc, MCA and Ph.D admissions will be conducted on the basis of a Written test followed by Personal Interview.
• The college conducts a separate written test (MCMAT) followed by GD and interview for BBA Admission.
