New Delhi: A six-member team of NAAC has visited the Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur for the evaluation and verification of data submitted by the university from June 07 to 09, 2022.
As per MMMUT Gorakhpur, the evaluation team examined the university based on seven parameters set by the NAAC curriculum, such as study-teaching and evaluation, research, innovation and extension, infrastructure, and facilities.
Additionally, the NAAC team also evaluated the system for the all-around development of students, the administrative system, leadership and management, and the values and traditions of the university. The verification of data shared by the university was also done on the campus.
Informing about the visit, the officials of MMMUT Gorakhpur stated that the NAAC team visited the central workshop of the university to inspect the availability of required equipment. The team ensured whether the university had installed the necessary equipment for the training of students.
Furthermore, the NAAC team evaluated the university stadium, sports facilities, extracurricular activities conducted on campus ground, and arrangements of MMMUT Gorakhpur Hostel and facilities offered to students during their visit.
The Student Activities Council informed the team regarding various ongoing activities, events, engaging extracurricular activities, and facilities offered to students on the campus ground.
In addition to this, the NAAC team asked the student’s opinions on the educational facilities and quality of education at the university. The team further inquired about the teaching facilities, faculty members, training sessions, and MMMUT Gorakhpur Placement session.
On the last day of the visit, the team members met the MMUT Faculty and staff members and expressed their opinion on the overall quality of education at the university. The team shared that they’re overwhelmed to see the alumni's love for the university.
In other news, the university has started its three-day U13 Markandey Chand Memorial Yonex Sunrise UP State Prize Money Badminton Competition on June 08, 2022, in which Aryan, a student of the university is awarded the first prize.
Talking about the competition, MMMUT Gorakhpur informed that the inauguration event of the competition was held in the presence of MLC CP. The first match was won by Advance Gautam of Shahjahanpur who scored 30-27 points by defeating Soham Chaturvedi of Lucknow.
