Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Centre for Creative Learning (CCL) at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) have collaborated in order to launch 30-30 Eklavya education programs in accordance with NEP 2020.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Centre for Creative Learning (CCL) at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) have collaborated in order to launch 30-30 Eklavya education programs in accordance with NEP 2020 in all CBSE affiliated schools. 

Under this collaboration, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) along with CCL will introduce an online interactive education program with effective implementation of National Education Policy 2020. 

Eklavya Series is a step forwards Nation Education Policy. It is an online educational program that will cover the curriculum with real-world examples and stories. The series will commence on September 26, 2021, and will be held on Sunday from 4 to 5 pm, on CCL’s YouTube channel.

30-30 Eklavya Series 2021: Key Highlights 

The 30-20 Eklavya series aims to offer out of box thinking, understanding, interdisciplinary education, problem-solving skills as well as Learning How to Learn among school students properties. 

The Eklavya series will be conducted weekly, and each episode of the series will include a combination of science and math concepts. The key features of Eklavya Series 2021 are as follows: 

  • Numerous hands-on activities. 
  • Projects and models, to help understand various concepts. 
  • PISA-based thought-provoking questions.
  • Assignments that promote out-of-box creative thinking.
  • Inspiring DIY project video, etc. 

Referring to the initiatives of the Eklavya Series, Prof Manish Jain, Head of CCL, IITGN, said: “The National Education Policy 2020 envisions a drastic and much-needed reform in our education system. Implementing it, however, might seem intimidating for school teachers and administrators''.

"This is the gap that CBSE and IITGN are trying to fill with the Eklavya series: to demystify NEP and showcase how to implement it across the schools effectively. In that light, it will be beneficial for our teachers and students to register and participate in this program" he added.
