NIE Mysore Placements 2022 Concluded; Highest Salary Recorded at INR 44 LPA

New Delhi: The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysore has successfully concluded its placement process for the final year students for the academic session 2021-22. 

According to the data shared by NIE Mysore, the placement drive 2022 witnessed a 100% success rate with a tremendous record of the annual CTC ranging up to INR 44 lakh per annum. 

The institute recorded the highest package for the Industrial Production branch was INR 30 LPA, followed by Mechanical engineering branch with INR 23 LPA and civil engineering witnessed INR 8 LPA as the average package.

NIE, Mysore Placements 2022: 100% Record Despite COVID-19 Pandemic 

The institute issued a press note stating that the record placements are a feather to the institution's cap as they have achieved successful placement records amidst the pandemic situation. 

Despite the prevailing pandemic situation, the institute celebrated the record placements by congratulating and honoring its students who got hired for prominent roles in prestigious national and multinational companies. 

The institute revealed in its press note that the NIE final year placement drive has almost concluded for the students who will pass out in the academic session 2022. With the ongoing pandemic and subsequent economic slowdown, NIE did not experience any decline in the number of recruiters or packages. 

The institute has set a record of 730-plus students of all courses already placed with 1025-plus offers, however, the placements for the core branches are still in progress. 

Although the academic year 2021-22 was a very tough year with uncertainty due to the change in the placement process, it did not hamper the college placement process, rather the institute witnessed an upward scale altogether in the ongoing placement session by having 430-plus companies on campus, the release said.

Some of the top-notch recruiters who visited the NIE campus and offered an overwhelming job packages are Twilio, JP Morgan, Chase and Co, Cisco, VMWare, Western Digital, Fidelity Investment, Deloitte, HPE R and D, Philips, SAP Labs India, Mercedes Benz, NetApp, Texas Instrument, Cohesity, Accenture, KPMG, Visa, Myntra, Wipro, Infosys, and HCL.

Speaking about the successful placement drive and expressing his content, Harshith Divakar, Training and Placement Officer, NIE, explained how best practices like Industrial driven electives and mentor-mentee systems helped students to build their careers. 

Divakar also mentioned that a student should be strong in fundamentals and should have strong knowledge of any one technology.
