New Delhi: NIIT University, a not for profit UGC (University Grants Commission) has begun the application process for undergraduate and postgraduate level degree courses for the academic session 2023-24. Aspiring candidates can submit the online application form through the official portal, @https://niituniversity.in/. 

NIIT University offers a number of programs in Engineering and management at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Candidates seeking admission to the UG and PG programmes can submit their applications till the deadline which is not yet announced by the university. 

Admission to NIIT University depends on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination and personal interview.

NIIT University UG & PG Admission 2023: Highlights 

The UG level programs include BBA, B.Tech of four-year duration under 5 specializations, Integrated M.Tech, Integrated M.Sc and Integrated MBA course. While the PG level courses include M.Tech courses of 2-years duration in 2 disciplines. 

NIIT University UG & PG Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the UG and PG courses will have to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

B.Tech., Integrated M.Tech. & Integrated M.Sc: 

• Candidates must have passed 10th with 60% marks and successfully completed 10+2.
• In case of B.Tech.- Biotechnology, Integrated M.Tech, candidates must have studied Physics, Biology /Mathematics and English at 10+2 level.
• For B.Tech.- CSE/ECE, candidates must have studied Physics, Mathematics and English.

MTech: 

• Candidates must have secured at least 50% in 10th, 10+2, Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree(if applicable).
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in any field.
• Professionals with 3 years- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of two years adequate IT training and professional practicing in an ET relevant industry/ organization/ dept./ desk/ in India or abroad are eligible.
• Candidates with three-years relevant experience in any of the above-mentioned areas can also apply. 

BBA & Integrated MBA 

• Candidates must have passed 10th with 50% marks and successfully completed 10+2.
• Candidates must have studied any 4 subjects from Commerce/Science/Humanities streams and English. 

NIIT University UG & PG Admission 2023: Selection Process

B.Tech., Integrated M.Tech. & Integrated M.Sc: 

• Candidates are selected for B.Tech. course on the basis of JEE Main/ BITSAT/ SAT/ NEET or any other state engineering entrance examination score.
• Those who do not have any of the above scores need to appear in the NUAT exam conducted by the university itself.

MTech: 

• Admission to M.Tech courses is through a unique Admission Interaction Process (AIP), which consists of 2 parts
  • Candidates need to appear for the Aptitude Test which is of 40 minutes duration.
  • Those who qualify the test will undergo the Applicant-Faculty Interaction process either face to face or through video conferencing.
• The Selected candidates will have to submit the Acceptance letter duly signed by them and their parent/guardian within 5 working days of receiving the Admission Offer Letter along with a non-refundable acceptance cum admission processing fee of INR 25,000/-. 

 BBA & Integrated MBA: 

• For admission into BBA and Integrated MBA, the university conducts Admission Interaction Process (AIP), which consists of three parts: 
  • Questionnaire stating student’s aspirations and reasons for choosing engineering as a career option, 
  • NIIT University Aptitude Test (NUAT) 
  • Student Personal Interaction either face-to-face or through video conferencing.
• Those who clear all the 3 rounds are provided admission in the course.

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of NIIT University @https://niituniversity.in/. 

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
