NIRF 2021 Medical Ranking 2021: National Institutional Ranking Framework, NIRF Ranking 2021 has been officially released today, (September 9, 2021.) Under the Medical Ranking Category, All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi has secured the first position

Following AIIMS Delhi which secured the first spot, the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, and Christian Medical College, Vellore have secured second, and third rank in NIRF 2021 medical category. 

NIRF 2021 Ranking List for all categories has been released on the official website of the National Institutional Ranking Framework at www.nirfindia.org today (September 09, 2021), at 3 pm. Check the top medical institutes as per NIRF 2021 Medical Category Ranking below.

NIRF Medical Ranking 2021: Check Top 5 Medical Colleges Position

NIRF Ranking 2021 is evaluated for each college/institute/university as per the ranking parameters, which are; Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), Perception (PR).

While comparing the NIRF 2021 ranking to the previous years NIRF rankings, AIIMS New Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, and Christian Medical College have secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rank respectively for two times in a row. 

Further, NIMHANS Bengaluru has secured the 4th position, while Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow has secured the 5th position. Both the institutes have successfully maintained their last year NIRF Medical Rank.

Referring to the NIRF 2021 Release, Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan twitted,” I congratulate all the premier institutions from across India who topped the rankings in their respective categories-overall, universities, engineering, management, college, pharmacy, medical, architecture, law, dental and research institutions".

NIRF Rankings are released every year in the month of June. However, this year the ranking release was delayed for two months due to the surge of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
