NIT AP: New Buildings Virtually Inaugurated By Union Education Minister


Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Education Minister, and A.P. State Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh virtually inaugurated the new buildings of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Andhra Pradesh.

The inauguration of the new buildings of NIT Andhra Pradesh was done on October 27, 2020, at Tadepalligudem in West Godavari district.

Mr. Suresh appealed to the Union Education Minister to sanction the proposal worth INR 350 crores, submitted by NIT AP for the construction of other structures in the second phase. 

The Government of India has sanctioned INR 415 crores to NIT AP for the construction of structures in the first phase. Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal reassured that the GOI will grant the budget required for the second phase of construction.
